Great Indie Reads Offers Authors Free Advertising

Great Indie Reads is a website that promotes books by independent authors to readers.The site is looking to grow. It offers free ad space and website links for authors.

I submitted information about The Pet Washer to Great Indie Reads on February 19, 2012. My post went live today, April 1, 2012. So it works, but you have to be patient. Especially after this post comes out! You'll want to be the first in line because authors are going to flock to take advantage of this free advertising. Great Indie Reads has an email subscription base of over 800 readers and 300,000 visitors per month. (Check out their comment below!)

In return for the free advertising, they ask that you promote their site on your social accounts and link back to them if you like their service. It is a win win situation for everybody. Every link you build into and out of your blog, website or Amazon product page, strengthens your presences on the Web. There is no greater compliment to me than when a readers links to my blog (or re-tweets me!).

Links are important for SEO. (I wrote an article about SEO here).Great Indie Reads allows anyone to submit links to them, again for free. I encourage you to take advantage of this. When a blog includes a link to your product or blog, it increases your "authority" on the web.

Great Indie Reads is associated with Free Book Reviews. They offer free author interviews, free book reviews and some low-cost paid advertisements for authors. I wrote about their services and what you can expect in this article, "Where to Go For An Author Interview." You will need to be more patient with this site. I submitted The Pet Washer for a book review on 12/29/2011 and there are still about 50 books ahead of mine.
